Sportsmanship??

There was an article in Delhi Times today about how Andy Murray lacked sportsmanship spirit 'cause he cried after losing the match to Federer, but i want to ask people that what is wrong in showing some emotion on the field? Is sportsman supposed to be without emotion? How few tears make him less of a sportsman? It just means that how hard he tried and how sad he felt after losing.
I remember Roger Federer also crying when he lost the title to Nadal once. But losing and winning is part of the game and the person who loose does feel loss and if he sheds few tears then whats the harm? Sometimes while preaching the winner we forget about the looser and that he has also put in all the hard work for the game.

Anyways I just want to say that Federer is the god of tennis then other players can also be demi gods :)... Preach but don't over preach...

Touching Untouchability....

Today I was watching Satyamev Jayate, Aamir khan's program and his subject was untouchability and that how it’s still there and how it’s deeply ingrained in people's mind. I don't know why our thinking is like this why we still believe in all these superstition and all the things which we know are baseless and narrow minded but  I also know that human being can be the cruellest animal in the whole animal kingdom.
In India we always talk of preserving our tradition our customs but do we really need to preserve all these things? Who remember the things which actually brought these things into being. The Brahmins in India support caste system based on the writings in Shatras they say. One of the paragraphs shown on the show really caught my interest and I want to elaborate on that...
It was a scene where a Brahmin is telling about the caste system he says the following...from the laws of Manu
From his mouth god created Brahman (Priest)
His arms Kshatriyas (ruler)
His thighs Vishay’s (commoner)
His feet the shudras (servant)

My teacher once told me that how we interpret things also depends on us and it’s our weaknesses which make us take the wrong interpretation so that the work becomes easier for us. I think the meaning of this paragraph was something else and we have made it something else. These are our weaknesses which make us do all the stupid things like superstition, caste ism, etc. The Brahmans to make themselves supreme has brought all these things into being and I am sure they will be punished severely by the lord who they claim to preach 'cause as a person of god, Brahman should be the first person to respect everything created by the lord. So I really hope that this initiative taken by Aamir will become our initiative too.
